Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence Association, or in short PREMIA, is a professional non-profit society registered in Singapore and an International Association for Pattern Recognition (IAPRmember society since 2004PREMIA aims to provide a forum for scientists and engineers in Singapore who are interested in pattern recognition and machine intelligence research.  Specifically, the topics of research interest include but not limited to computer vision, image processing, speech analysis, robotics, multimedia, document analysis, character recognition, knowledge engineering, fractal analysis and intelligent control, statistical techniques, neural networks, evolutionary programming, fuzzy logic, machine learning, and hardware implementation.  Furthermore, PREMIA is affiliated with IAPR so as to provide a link for our local researchers to the international community. In this website you will find useful information on membership, awards, courses and activities conducted every year. We expect the information on this website to be of particular interest to students, researchers, lecturers, engineers and practitioners in the community. However, anyone interested to know more about the world of artificial intelligence is likely to find this information useful.

PREMIA Annual General Meeting 2018

PREMIA will have its 2018 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in August 2018. This year is an election-year for new PREMIA Board Members. All PREMIA members are welcome to attend to vote for the new Board. There will be PREMIA Best Student Paper Awards for journal and conference papers. Free dinner. Networking opportunities. Meeting old friends and making new friends.
